Mundeshwari Temple, Bihar: Maa Mundeshwari Temple is located in Bhagwanpur block of Kaimur district of Bihar. The statue of Mata Mundeshwari, riding on the buffalo installed in the temple, looks very vibrant. There is a belief about the ancient temple, that mother Mundeshwari accepts bloodless sacrifice. According to which, the priest of the temple touches the rice from the feet of Maa Mundeshwari and sprinkles it on the goat, which makes him unconscious. After this, when rice is sprinkled on the goat by touching the mother Mundeshwari again, the goat again comes to the senses. No clear information is available about who built the Mundeshwari temple.
