Karvandiya Picnic Spot: Karvandia, the former mining area of Bihar, has now become a popular picnic spot. Deep mines and water -filled pits have now become the center of attraction. This place near Sasaram is considered to be the best picnic spot from October to March.

Rajgir: Karvandia was once one of the largest mining sector in Bihar. Stones and limestone were removed from here. The stone here used to play an important role in the construction of roads, houses and buildings.

Nearby airports are Gaya (130 km) and Patna (160 km). This place can be easily accessible through NH-19 (Old GT Road) by road. At the same time, the best time to roam is the winter season from October to March.
