Telangana News Hindi: Telangana Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has made its operation smart by adopting AI technology. This will improve passengers better facilities, availability of services at the right time and work of employees. TGSRTC has become the first Public Transport Corporation of India to improve operations from AI.
Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has taken a historic decision to include AI in its operation, with which it has become the first such Public Transport Corporation in India. The objective of this initiative is to increase operational efficiency, reduce cost, improve passenger facilities and improve employee welfare. The corporation has started this project in partnership with Hansa Equity Partners LLP, which will now be implemented in all depots. This information was given to Transport and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Shri Prabhakar during a detailed presentation.
The plan started in 2021
TGSRTC officials said that this AI project is the result of the success of the strategic deployment scheme launched in the year 2021. The SDP has played an important role in adapting the corporation to correspond to modern transport requirements, improving passenger services, ensuring digital changes and financial stability.
Smart scheduling
Adopting AI is a strategic step towards preparing TGSRTC for future challenges. This integration will improve significant improvement in the speed, transparency and accuracy of services as well as smart scheduling will be possible to suit dynamic passenger requirements. TGSRTC is setting a national standard by becoming the first corporation to adopt such technology in the public transport sector of the country.
