For this, the railway has authorized the pharmacy degree holder through the tender. After the approval, the drug outlet will open at Moradabad, Bareilly, Haridwar and Dehradun railway stations of the Railway Division in mid -June. With this, passengers will be able to get medicines at the railway station in emergency. Given what kind of health is bad, the pharmacy degree holder who runs the outlet will give medicine.

There was no facility to get medicines at the railway station yet. Only English medicines will be available at these outlets. If someone at the train or station has a common problem like stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, headache, then in an emergency, medicine will be available from the pharmacy. If the health of a passenger is worse and needs to be taken to the hospital, then the Railways has already been providing medical facilities at the next station in such a situation through the ‘Rail Help’ app and 139 helpline number.

Essential medicines will be available at the outlet
Passengers often take medicines from home, but many times they have a doctor’s form, not medicine. In such a situation, the Railways has ensured that the necessary medicines written on the prescription are also available at the pharmacy outlet. Rail Senior DCM Aditya Gupta informed that the Pharmacy degree holder has been approved to open the outlet at Moradabad, Bareilly, Haridwar and Dehradun railway stations in the Mandal. For this, the tender process has been completed and by mid -June, these outlets will start. The pharmacist will have full knowledge to give medicine according to the health of the passenger, permission has been given on the basis of this qualification.
