Kaimur hill region is now becoming a new center of tourism. A 1300 meter long ropeway is being built from Rohtas block to Chaurasan temple at a cost of Rs 13 crore. With 12 cabins and dropping system, tourists will reach the hill in 15-20 minutes, trials will start soon.

Due to the initiative of the government, access to religious and historical places situated in forests and mountains is becoming easier.

This project is going to give a new direction to hill tourism.

A 1300 meter long ropeway track is being built to reach the approximately 1500 feet high hill.

At present one has to cover a distance of 60 kilometers by road.

Not only ropeway but construction work of new road is also going on to reach Rohtasgarh Fort.

About 70% work has been completed

The trial of the ropeway is expected to start in the next few days.
