Hyderabad. A new name has joined the world of sweets – Luv Laban. This shop located in Sarath City Mall is in the news these days for its country-style sweets. It is inspired by Dubai’s famous sweet shop B’Laban, but with a special emphasis on Hyderabadi flavours. The sweets available here are extremely creamy and full of unique taste. Love Laban offers on its menu extremely creamy desserts made from milk, which are layered with delicious toppings. The names of their dishes such as salankatiya, kashtoota, kousheri and heba cake reflect the original style of B’Laban.

These include flavors like Pistachio, Lotus, Mango and Nutella as well as delectable combinations like Nutella-Pista and Mango-Strawberry. All these dishes are reminiscent of the famous sweets of B’Laban in Dubai, which went viral on social media. While B Laban is known for its ultra-rich desserts made with Belgian chocolate and premium pistachios, Luv Laban has adapted the concept to suit local tastes and wallets. While the original taste of the creamy and layered dessert has been retained, it has been made more accessible to the sweet-loving masses of Hyderabad.

Hyderabad’s craze for Gulf food
In the last few years, the trend of Middle East inspired sweets and dishes has increased rapidly in Hyderabad. Not only sweets, but the city residents have a deep love for the food of Gulf countries. From shawarma and mandi to kunafa and laban, many Middle Eastern dishes have now become a part of everyday food in Hyderabad. This growing trend is linked to the city’s strong cultural and familial ties with the Gulf countries, where many Hyderabadis live, work or visit. Be it the growth of Saudi products shops, the increasing popularity of Mandi restaurants, or the opening of sweet shops like Luv Laban – the influence of Gulf countries on the culinary world of Hyderabad is clearly visible. If you also want to taste it, then you can have it on the 4th floor of Sarth City Mall, Kondapur, Hyderabad.
