The British soldiers complained of the theft of their guns during the prayer. So in 1857, marks were made in the wooden benches of St. Pauls where soldiers used to worship by keeping their guns. These marks are still present there. The complex of the church is very calm and relaxed, and the fresh fragrance of the high cedar trees around is felt there.
