This city is a confluence of peace, coolness and many stories. Famous English storyteller Ruskin Bond has lived here for centuries. He has told the story of the red tibes here to the whole world. Landor was once a quiet area of ​​Mussoorie in Uttarakhand. It used to become more calm in cold winds and small days, but now there is no shortage of reels here for twelve months. St. Paul’s Church-St. Pauls Church is an old Cantonment Church built in 1840. It is very close to four shops. This was the first church where guns could be brought inside. The British soldiers complained of the theft of their guns during the prayer. So in 1857, marks were made in the wooden benches of St. Pauls where soldiers used to worship by keeping their guns. These marks are still present there. The complex of the church is very calm and relaxed, and the fresh fragrance of the high cedar trees around is felt there. The yellow church painted with yellow color looks fantastic between the blue sky and green trees. St. Pauls Church is the best place for peace and solitude in Landaur.

This is a 2-3 hour trek in which one can see tiger, bear, sahi, langur and deer. Unfortunately we did not see wildlife but saw something in their motion-sensor cameras.

How to reach Ladhore from Mussoorie
Ladhore is just three and a half kilometers from Mussoorie. Landaur is a dream -like walk from Mussoorie market to four shops where enthusiasts can also go on foot. It may take from 40 minutes to one hour to walk. You will get amazing bliss during this journey. This path will take you through the cedar forests to a winding footpath from where you will never forget the fragrance of the mountains and the beautiful view around.

History of ladhaur
Ladhore was settled by the British. For the first time in 1825, a house was built here by a captain of the British Army, Frederick. Frederick discovered Mussoorie. He was also the commandant of the Gorkha Battalion earlier, which was created by the British after the victory in the Gorkha war. This house used to be a place to stay for his family in summer. In 1827 it was built many houses for the British Ami. This place began to be used for the treatment and comfort of the army. Hospitals were also built here. Therefore a large part of Landor is a cantonment area. Today there is the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) Institute of Technology Management (ITM). The British Hospital closed after 1947. After 1857, some British families came and settled here due to the anger against the British. American missionary also came here. For many generations, children of American missionaries studied at Woodstock School or were born in Landur. In recent years, his descendants are coming to see this place. After independence, this place became of the Indian Army, but some of the British families who remained here after independence are still today.
