This temple was named Jatoli from Shiva’s jatas
It is believed that this temple used to be a resting place of Lord Shiva. Along with this, due to the long jatas of Lord Shiva, it is named Jatoli Temple.
It is said about this water pool that when Swami Krishnanand Paramahansa came here, he saw that people in Solan are troubled by the problem of water. It is said that for this he meditated Mahadev and then this water pool originated here. Since then, there has never been a shortage of water in this area.
Even after the completion of the construction of the Jatoli Shiva temple, it was not immediately opened to the visitors, then in 2013 it was opened to Shiva devotees.
