Indian Railways is going to run Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains on 25 October (from Navratri), which will travel four Jyotirlinga and Statue of Unity. This whole journey will be for nine days. In this, the train will make devotees visit the major pilgrimages and historical sites of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
This train will run from Amritsar. After this, Jalandhar will pass through major stations like Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Ambala Cantonment, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Delhi Cantonment and Rewari. Passengers can climb and descend from here. In this way, passengers from three states can board this train.
Devotees boarding the train will be first seen in Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain. This will then reach Kevadia in Gujarat, where the pride of modern India and the world’s tallest statue will see the ‘Statue of Unity’. After this the train will go to Dwarka, where devotees will be able to see Dwarkadhish Temple and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga. In the end the yatra will reach Somnath, where Somnath Jyotirlinga will be seen.
Seats for every category will be available in this train. Sleeper class (640 seats), 3ac standard (70 seats), and 2ac comfort (52 seats) are available. Their fare has also been kept very economical. Sleeper class Rs 19,555, 3 third 27,815 rupees and 2 AC 39,410 per capita fare will have to be paid. The package will include train tickets as well as lunch, hotels for living, AC for local transport and non AC buses.
