Amarnath Yatra 2025: The Amarnath Yatra starts from July 3. Devotees are very keen on this journey. It is a very sacred place but it is not easy to see Baba Barfani because the journey is considered very difficult. If you are planning for Amarnath Yatra, then definitely look at these things so that there is no problem while traveling.
The Amarnath Yatra will run from 3 July to 9 August 2025. There are 2 routes of this 38 -day journey. You can choose the path as per your convenience. At this time there is a monsoon, so there is a possibility of rain. In such a situation, the route of Pahalgam is best. This track may be 43 km long but convenient. Tracking through this route, 4 to 5 days are enough to see Baba Barfani. The second route is from Baltal. This track is 14 kilometers but it is not easy to tracking here. There are deep moats on the side of the road. Due to the track being small, one has to walk here, but this makes the darshan complete in 1 to 2 days.
You can make 5 days trip
If you want to do the Amarnath Yatra on foot, then you have to plan a trip of 5 days. If you are traveling from Delhi or other city, then reached Srinagar on the first day. After resting here, reach Baltal or Pahalgam. On the second day, start trekking from the base camp and reach the Panchatrani. After stopping here at night, tracking from Panchatarni to cave on the third day. After visiting Baba Barfani, the Panchatarni should come on the same day. Return the base camp from here on the fourth day and go out of Srinagar on the 5th day. You can also take base camp mules. Its price is according to the track which starts from 2 thousand rupees. There is also a helicopter service here, but this time the government has stopped this service and has made this place a no flying zone due to security reasons. There are different packages according to the convenience for Amarnath Yatra. The price of the basic package starts at 10 thousand rupees.

Amarnath Yatra is not easy. There are several kilometers of tracks, narrow paths and trenches. In such a situation, you have to prepare yourself mentally and physically to climb. Start a walk of 40 minutes from 40 minutes before the journey. Do workouts by climbing the stairs. Do not breathe on walking, do many breathing exercises including Pranayama. Take healthy diet, include fruits and vegetables in food.
Keep these things in mind in the journey
During the Amarnath Yatra, the breath swells a lot, so keep drinking water. If the breath rises, then take camphor with you and keep smelling in between, this will keep the body in sufficient amount of oxygen and will not breathe. Do pack woolen clothes, jackets, thermal wear with you. Rain can occur at any time, so keep a raincoat, umbrella and shoes cover. There may be electricity problem in the camp, so take a flashlight and power bank. Pack ORS, band-ed and all the necessary medicines together. Prepaid SIM card does not run in Jammu and Kashmir, so get the sim already postpaid.
