Today we will tell you about 5 such hidden places where you can enjoy walking with the family.

Raymond’s tomb belongs to a French general Mitchell Raymond, who used to work in the Nizam’s army. People used to worship him as Moses Ram or Moses Rahim. This tomb made of black stone is situated on a hill of Malakpet and is a unique part of the history of Hyderabad.

The Toli Mosque (Caravan), built in 1671, is a great example of Qutubshahi architecture. Its minarets, carved walls and elephant -shaped balcony make it special. But, due to this mosque being in a quiet area, very few people know.

There is another fort near Golconda Fort, called the “new fort”. It was built during the time of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Here Majnu-Laila Garh, Mustafa Khan Mosque and a 400-year-old Baobab tree are worth seeing. Few people go to see this place.

The British Residency (Koti) is also a very special tourist destination in itself. This grand building was built in 1805 and British officials lived here. Its big stairs, European design and statues of big lions make it special. After being neglected for many years, it has now been preserved and since 2022 it has been open to the public.

James Street Police Station (Secunderabad) was built in 1867 and is still used today. It is one of the oldest British buildings in Hyderabad. Despite being near the Secunderabad Clock Tower, very few people notice its beauty.
