A special train will run every Friday between Rajgir and Haridwar in Bihar from 10 October to 26 December. This train will prove to be especially beneficial for the devotees who want to go on religious pilgrimage to pilgrimage sites.

After a long wait, Rajgir-Haridwar special train is starting again. Train number 03223 will leave Rajgir every Friday at 4:05 am and reach Haridwar the next day. There is enthusiasm about this restoration among the devotees of Rajgir and surrounding areas.

This train will be especially beneficial for those devotees who want to visit Mother Ganga or go on a religious pilgrimage to Haridwar-Rishikesh. Now the facility to reach Haridwar directly from Rajgir will provide them both ease and time saving.

The train will stop at important stations like Nalanda, Biharsharif, Patna, Buxar, Varanasi, Lucknow, Bareilly. Because of this, direct facility will be available to the passengers from Bihar to many major cities of North India.

Return train number 03224 from Haridwar will depart every Saturday at 7:20 am and reach Rajgir at 7:15 am the next day. In this way, the devotees have also been given the facility to return at the scheduled time.

The time from October to December is full of religious events and festivals. Keeping this in view, Railways has taken this step. This train will be helpful in handling the huge increase in the number of passengers and will give people the option of comfortable travel.

This special train will not only be a means of transportation but will also become a means of further strengthening the religious-cultural relations between Bihar and North India. The journey from Rajgir to Haridwar will bring a confluence of faith, tourism and tradition for the devotees.
