The Urwan of Koderma district is now emerging as a new center for tourists. After Tilaiya Dam, the district administration has introduced many new facilities here with the aim of making Urwan a tourism hub here.
The most special among them is floating restaurant, which is providing a unique food experience floating on the surface of water. This restaurant is attracting not only the local people but also the tourists coming from far and wide.
Apart from floating restaurant, activities like paddle boats, motor boats, cruise boats and water sports have been arranged here. Due to which the tourists are getting attracted.

According to the district administration, the purpose of these facilities is to promote local tourism and create new employment opportunities. Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation is also providing support to this project.
