RJDRI-Devadari Waterfall located at Chandraprabha Sanctuary in Chandauli district has become a center of tourist attraction these days. Here the water of Chandraprabha river falls from a height of hundreds of feet in Devdari via Rajdari. Tourists are reaching from far and wide to see this natural scene.
Situated 60 km from Varanasi and just 20 kilometers from Chakia, this natural waterfall is built on the Chandra Prabha River, which is a tributary of Karmnasha. Located in Chandauli district, this Rajdari waterfall is a beautiful and popular picnic spot. The milky water of this huge waterfall falling down from the rocks presents a pleasant view that loves the eyes. The top site of the waterfall also presents a panoramic view of the valley below.
Rajdari Falls is in the most famous waterfalls of this Sanctuary. Local and domestic and foreign tourists come near this 65 feet high waterfall. The water of the RJD waterfall falls something like this, as if coming down the stairs and coming to the ground. When this water is in spate during monsoon or rainy, then the beauty of the Razdari waterfalls takes four moons. This delightful place has been developed by the Uttar Pradesh government as a picnic spot.
All security arrangements have been made by the Uttar Pradesh government, so that any accident can be avoided. For the purpose of providing additional facilities to tourists, there are many points for photographs or selfies. To go towards this waterfall, leaving the Chakia-Naugarh main road and going a little further on the road to the RJD, a check post of the forest department will be found and the gate is built, from where you enter for the Razdari waterfall.
Devdari Falls is located in Chandraprabha Sanctuary just 3 km from Rajdari Falls. This waterfall is completely different from Rajdari. Like the RJD, it is not a staircase but it is like the waterfall of the Western countries, the water coming from the top falls very down. Tourists consider it to be Niagra Waterfall of Uttar Pradesh.
It is a beautiful place in the midst of green surroundings, where there is a waterfall of water like silver. Devdari Falls is located on the left side of its entrance, about 700 meters from Rajdari. This RJD is located in the water flow of the waterfall and it can only be seen from above. It cannot be reached under it. Falls falling below a height of 58 meters are a popular site of tourism and attracts a large number of domestic foreign tourists.
The panoramic shade of Rajdari and Devdari waterfall is not hidden from anyone. The result of this is that in the months of Sawan and Bhadon, tourists from other countries including Netherlands, Holland, Sweetzerland, Japan, including Purvanchal, are drawn themselves in the months of Sawan and Bhadon. It is well known in the name of these falls that here, the gods along with Raje Rajavadas used to come down to the earth to see the aura of nature.
RJDI, Devdari waterfall, called heaven of Purvanchal, produces panoramic views for tourists, but at the same time they are also associated with Tilism and Caves. Caves built under these two waterfalls have the secrets in itself. History experts believe that through these caves, the king and his special people used to go from one place to another.
Their detectives also used the activity of another state using caves. Even today, the forts of Naugarh and Vijaygarh are witness to these caves. It is said that using these caves, Aiyar (special intelligence) used to pile up the enemy. At present, many caves have been closed by the Forest Department.
