Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat- The wait to travel by train to Srinagar is going to end. After 6 June, Vanderat is going to start from Katra to Srinagar. The Prime Minister is going to inaugurate it.

Because after June 6, a direct train will be available for Katra Srinagar. The Prime Minister will flag two Vande Bharat trains. With this, after 42 years, Kashmir will be connected to the train route from all over the country. Right now trains are running from Srinagar to Sangaldan in Valley. Now, these trains can be run up to Katra after the rail line starts from Sangaldan to Katra.
Earlier it was to be inaugurated on April 19, but in the meantime, its program has been extended in view of the possibility of bad weather. Then on 22 April, due to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir and tension between India and Pakistan, the inauguration was further postponed. Now the inauguration ceremony will be held on 6 June. After this, trains will start running.
The journey of 3.15 hours will be
Mata Vaishno Devi’s journey from Srinagar 272 km. It will be long, the train will complete the journey in 3.15 hours. On the first day, the train will run from both sides in the morning. However, later only one Vande Bharat will run which will reach the destination in the morning and will go back. Both special Vanderat Bharat are ready.
