There is a mini Taj Mahal in Maharashtra
You must have always read about the Taj Mahal of Agra. It was made from Shah Jahan in memory of his Begum Mumtaz. It is also considered a sign of love. People from all over the country and abroad reach to see this wonder, but in Maharashtra, there is a sign of similar love. It is called Bibi’s Tomb which is in Aurangabad. This mausoleum was built by Aurangzeb’s son Azam Shah in memory of his mother Dilras Bano Begum. Its architecture is exactly like the Taj Mahal. Marble work has also been done in this. It is called the ‘crown of the Deccan’.

Delhi’s ghost palace was once a hunting ground

There is a mausoleum named Gol Gumbaj in Bijapur, Karnataka. It was built by Mohammad Adil Shah in the 17th century. The domes of this mausoleum are the largest in Asia who are standing without a pillar. The center here is named Vispiring Gallery because the light sound spoken in one corner is also heard clearly in the other corner. Not only this, every voice resonates 7 times. The structure here will surprise you.

There is an old terraced well in Patan, Gujarat, which is called Vav Ki Vav. Actually, this is a stepwell which was built by King Bhimdev I in memory of his wife Rani Udayamati in the 11th century. It has 7 levels of ladder and water in the middle. Not only this, more than 500 idols have been made around it, which show mythology. The carving here is worth seeing. If you reach this place, then you will have experience like art gallery here. The place was discovered in 1940 and in 2014 it was included in the UNESCO World Site.

Bhimbetka is a rock shelter in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. It is a cave-like place in appearance which is surrounded by big rocks all around. Its history is 30 thousand years old. This place is very unique. Here you will get to see such pictures which are associated with human civilization like animals, hunting, dance, community life. This place was discovered in 1957 by famous archaeologist Dr. Vishnu Sridhar Wakankar. In 2003, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site.
